Apple Announces News, Its Flipboard Competitor
At its WWDC event today, Apple announced a new Flipboard-like reader app for iOS, simply called news. It uses machine learning algorithms to help present articles it think you might be interested in. The app daher includes a new publishing format, including dynamic image mosaics and typography that moves as you scroll through articles. News is rolling out to the US, UK and Australia to start.
