Apple has issued a voluntary recall of its Bluetooth-connected Beats Pill XL wireless speakers due to a potential overheating risk. According to the company, “in rare cases, the battery in the Beats Pill XL may overheat and pose a fire safety risk”, but it adds that the recall doesn’t involve any other products. “Because customer safety is the company’s top priority, Apple is asking customers to stop using their Beats Pill XL speakers,” it added.
